What are the Gospel Colors?

The Gospel Colors are a simple and effective way for someone to hear and share the good news of Jesus Christ.

While there are many variations of sharing the gospel using these colors, they are only a tool and thus the Bible does not necessarily use these colors in this way. The gospel colors act as a visual guide to the core gospel truths of the Bible, allowing both the person sharing and listening to a presentation–a visual guide to each part.

We strongly believe that as a tool, the gospel colors can act as a starting point for understanding the gospel and sharing it–and as such, is meant to be simple, not sacred. We have many people we have trained who started with using the colors and went on to share the gospel without using them! So long as the gospel is faithfully shared–that is what matters most!

Why colors?

Like math, colors are universal! They are generally understood across different languages, cultures and age groups!

Why scripture?

While you might be able to quickly summarize the colors and what they represent, the Word of God is most effective in bringing salvation. “…faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.” -Romans 10:17  It’s become more popular to think that by “living the gospel” we can better reach the lost for Christ, but the gospel is not something we live, it is something we live by–and share, verbally, with the world. We strongly believe as Christians we are called to share our faith and that words are necessary–especially God’s word!
