Our Values

The Bible
God’s word is our primary tool to share the Gospel. We strongly believe that God’s word; the Bible is the foundation for every effort of a GCO evangelism missionary in training church leaders, equipping believers and evangelizing people with the good news of Jesus Christ.

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12
Psalm 19:7, 2 Timothy 3:16, Hebrews 4:17

Personal Evangelism & Discipleship
Spiritual growth happens best when it is done individually. Personal discipleship is the best way to raise leaders. We believe in sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, especially one on one. We believe that only when the gospel is fully understood, the gospel is truly accepted.

“And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.” 2 Timothy 2:2
Romans 1:16, Romans 10:9-17

Faith
Living by faith is our favorite way to live. We believe in God’s power to provide. GCO will continually seek to model living by faith and not by sight in all that God calls us to do whether individually or organizationally.

“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Matthew 6:33
“For we live by faith, not by sight.” 2 Corinthians 5:7
Matthew 21:21-22, Hebrews 11:1

Church
The local church is the best organization where we can serve the body of Christ.

“Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.” Galatians 6:10

Prayer
God does more through prayer than anything else we can do in the kingdom. We believe that prayer is the most important work in the life of any minister or ministry of the gospel. We believe that we have not truly worked for God until we have prayed!

“This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.” 1 John 5:14-15
Acts 1:14, Acts 3:1-10, Acts 4:23-21, Acts 6:1-7, Acts 10:9-16
